Overview
AI Call Grading automatically analyses and grades every sales phone call the moment it ends. Sales managers can instantly see how a call performed against key sales behaviours without listening to the recording, making it easy to spot coaching opportunities and recognise high-performing staff.
AI Call Grading is a paid plugin available for $100 per month. Once enabled, the AI Call Analysis card appears directly on the lead cluster page for every applicable call.
Important: AI Call Grading requires a Dealer Studio tracking phone number with transcription enabled. If you do not yet have a tracking number set up, contact your Account Manager before activating this plugin.
What You See on Each Call
Once the plugin is active, each call on a lead cluster page will display an AI Call Analysis card showing:
Grade badge
Each call receives a grade of A, B, or C based on how many of the 9 tracked sales KPIs were met and how long the call lasted.
- Grade A — 90% or more of KPIs met, call over 5 minutes
- Grade B — 60% or more of KPIs met, call over 3 minutes
- Grade C — any scoreable call that falls below the Grade B threshold

- Finance interest
- Trade-in status
- Test drive intent
KPI Breakdown
An expandable section showing which of the 9 tracked sales behaviours were met or missed on the call, such as whether the rep introduced themselves, asked about a trade-in, offered finance, or offered delivery.
How to Enable
- Go to Plugins in the left-hand sidebar of your Dealer Studio dashboard.
- Find AI Call Grading and activate your free trial, or contact your Account Manager to get set up.
- Make sure transcription is enabled on your Dealer Studio tracking phone number. The plugin will not grade calls without transcription active.
Compatibility
AI Call Grading works with any phone system that sends calls into the Dealer Studio platform, provided a recording URL is available and transcription is enabled on the phone number.
