How to Add Your Finance Provider into the Dashboard
Adding a finance provider to your software is a straightforward process that allows you to integrate various financing options into the Dealer Studio Dashboard. Whether you’re dealing with predefined providers or manually entering details, this guide will walk you through the steps.
Step one: Access Finance Providers in Settings
Access the dealership that you wish to apply your new finance provider to, and head to settings. From there, select the "Finance Providers" tab.
Step two: Begin Adding in Your Finance Provider
Select the "New Finance Provider" button and a few options will appear:
- Taurus
- Manual
- 360 Finance
- Angle
- Nissan Finance
- Powertorque
- Ausloans
If your desired option is not there, you can add it in with the "Manual Entry" option.
Step three: Select a Provider and Fill in Your Details
Depending on the selected provider, you may be prompted to enter specific details. These could include:
Provider Name: Automatically populated for predefined providers.
Interest Rates: Enter the minimum and maximum interest rates offered.
Comparison Rates: Input the applicable comparison rates.
Loan Term: Specify the standard loan term, typically in months.
Additional Information: For manual entries, you may need to fill in details like establishment fees, deposit options, balloon payments, and more.
Review Finance Disclaimer: You may need to include or modify the finance disclaimer text. Ensure that it accurately reflects the terms and conditions associated with the provider.
*Please Note: If you select the Manual option, "Finance Deposit" can only have one option. Fixed Amount OR Percentage, not both.
Step four: Save/Update Finance Provider
After adding in your information, click the "Update Finance Provider" button, this will finalise the entry and save it.
Step five: Verification (Optional)
For some providers, especially third-party integrations like 360 Finance or NissanFinance, you may need to verify the integration by running a test transaction or checking that the provider is active in your system.
Managing Finance Providers
Once you’ve added the finance provider, you can manage it from the same "Finance Providers" section. Here, you can:
- Edit details if there are changes to interest rates or terms.
- Deactivate a provider if it’s no longer in use.
And that's it, you have added in your finance provider!
