How to Upload a Video into the Pages Editor
Uploading a video in the pages editor is really easy. You can create or use a Cloudinary account and upload through the "Cloudinary Video" option in the page editor. And the other option is by using Canva and uploading it through raw HTML code.
Cloudinary Option
Step one: Making your Cloudinary account
Uploading an MP4 file through Cloudinary is totally free. So head to this link https://cloudinary.com and click the "Sign Up For Free" button.
From there you can use your google account or email to sign up. Follow the prompts and you should have an account set up in under a minute.
Step two: Upload your MP4 file to Cloudinary
In your Cloudinary console, head to "Assets" in the side bar.
And then to "Media Library".
From there, click on the "Upload" in the top right.
Clicking that will bring up a file selection prompt where you can drag and drop your MP4 file or you can browse your files for it.
Once you've selected your file, it will automatically start uploading it. Allow a couple of minutes for it to complete.
Step three: Getting the video link
Filter by "My Uploads" and your video will appear.
From there, access the drop down menu available on your upload, its in the format of 3 dots and will appear when you hover over the file.
Then hover over "Share", and navigate to "Embed".
Clicking on "Embed" will bring up the following:
Simply copy that link.
Step four: Inserting into a page in the Dealer Studio page editor
On the page that you wish to use the video on, access the "+" prompt on the side and navigate to the "Cloudinary Video" option by scrolling or using the search bar.
The following prompt will appear:
There you want to use the dots icon and access "Edit Settings".
Then all you will need to do is paste in that link from Cloudinary and your video will appear.
Canva Option (No Cloudinary account)
Step one: Access your Canva and create a video project
Firstly, click "Dreate a design".
From there select "Video".
Step two: Upload your video to Canva
In the video editor, click "upload files" and select the video you wish to upload.
Drag the uploaded video on the editing board and position it accordingly.
Step 3: Taking the video over to Dealer Studio
Once ready to go, click on the "Share" button in the top right.
Clicking that will bring down a drop down menu where you will click "More".
Among the new options that appear, click on "Embed".
And then click "Embed" again.
A link will then appear.
All you need to do there is copy it and head over to your page in the page editor on Dealer Studio. In the page editor, click on the "Add" button and access the "Raw HTML" feature.
Then all you need to do is paste that link and your video is good to go, it should look like this.
The video won't appear while you're still editing the page, you will have to generate a preview or publish the page to see what it will look like.
