Slide Dimensions
To ensure that your slides display correctly on your website, it’s important to use the proper dimensions. If the dimensions are incorrect, it can result in text being cut off, images being covered, or other layout issues that make the slide appear unprofessional.
Here’s the information you need to create and upload slides with optimal dimensions:
1. Recommended Aspect Ratio
- Aspect Ratio: 5:2 (Width: Height)
- This aspect ratio ensures that your slides fit well and maintain their quality across different screen sizes.
2. Recommended Dimensions
- Ideal Slide Size: 1280 x 512 pixels
- This size ensures that your slide is large enough for clarity, without appearing stretched or pixelated.
Key Considerations
- Text Visibility: Make sure any text on the slide is within the visible area. If the slide dimensions are off, the text can be cut off or not display properly.
- Image Clarity: Ensure that the images are not stretched or cropped in a way that distorts the content.
- Responsive Design: Your slides should be responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. Using the recommended aspect ratio and dimensions helps ensure that slides look good on all screen sizes.
How to Adjust the Slide Dimensions
- If your slide images are not displaying properly, check the current dimensions and resize them to 1280 x 512 pixels with a 5:2 aspect ratio.
- You can use image editing software (like Photoshop or an online tool) to resize the images to these recommended dimensions.
Once you’ve resized the images, upload them to your website and ensure everything displays correctly. To read how to upload slides on the Dealer Studio Dashboard, click here.
