GMB and Google Reviews

To add Google Reviews to your website via the Dealer Studio dashboard, you first need to set up and link your Google My Business (GMB) profile (now also called Google Business Profile (GBP)). This profile allows you to manage your business's information across Google, and is essential for syncing your Google Reviews to your website.

Adding GMB to the Dashboard

  1. On the dealership level of the dashboard, find Reviews and open the dropdown. Select GMB Accounts.

Once you navigate to the GMB Profile tab in the Dealer Studio dashboard, you will see a list of all GMB profiles that are currently linked to your dealership. If no profiles appear in the list, it means that there is currently no Google My Business (GMB) profile linked to the dealership.


  1. To link a new GMB profile, click on the Add GMB Profile button. This will allow you to connect the dealership’s Google My Business account to the dashboard.

After clicking the button, a new tab will open under Google. You’ll be prompted to log in with your desired Google account associated with the dealership's GMB profile.

Managing Website Reviews

  1. To control the reviews that go onto a specific website, on the dealership find Websites and select the desired website.

  1. Select Edit Website

  1. Under GMB Profile, select the appropriate GMB profile from the dropdown.

Ensure to select Update Website at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Managing Location Reviews

Many of our websites have multiple locations and therefore it is important to sync the locations with the appropriate GMB profile. This ensures that the appropriate review rating and number of reviews are displayed under each location.

  1. Under the dealership dashboard, select Settings

  1. Select location. On the row on the desired location, find the Action dropdown and select Edit.

  1. On the form to edit this location, select the appropriate GMB Profile.

Remember to select Update Location at the bottom of the page to finalise your changes.
